We were actually surprised how heavy it was for the two of us. Setting up your Purple Mattress is so easy, well for the most part! I will warn this mattress is actually SUPER heavy. It was the most comfortable to both of us right away. The 2″ grid is definitely softer, but we were both immediately drawn to the Purple Hybrid Premier 4. We tried out every style to feel the difference between all of them. My husband and I both prefer a more firm mattress. Learn more about the different mattresses here! Aside from the original Purple Mattress, they have the Purple Hybrid which is a combination of the 2? gel Grid and wrapped stainless steel coils, and the Purple Hybrid Premier, which has either 3 or 4″ Purple grid making this mattress one of the firmer options.
Can I be totally honest? I actually didn’t know that there were multiple styles of mattresses, I thought there was only one “Purple Mattress”. When you head into the store they have cozy “bedrooms” set up where you can safely test out the different types of Purple Mattresses they offer. Did I you know they sell more than just mattresses?
